Hello KOM to try in order in steam -heapsize 750000 for fps drops especially see for crash.
For the crashes I solved this by editing config.cfg removing everything except the bind "" and watch out for certain commands in autoexec.cfg which will come back.

Maybe change the order in gameinfo.txt "left4dead_playbcm" first, it works by removing test_909. And good surprise "l4d_tbm_3.bsp" was not included in the campaign cycle? I did not know this map !
